James Xue, PhD/MBA (Pharm BS '92), Founder and CEO of CANbridge Life Sciences was the featured speaker at Face-to-Face Alumni Forum held at the Peking University School of Pharmacy on November 21, 2013.   The forum series were established by the Pharmacy School to allow its students to have up-close and personal interactions with the School's distinguished alumni.  Dr. Xue was invited as a representative and entrepreneur from the biotech industry.

Over two-hour highly engaging exchanges, Dr. Xue gave a personal account of his experiences and lessons learned working in the biotech industry, as a senior executive in a multinational company or an entrepreneur in multiple start-up settings.  He responded questions ranging from the trend of the biotech industry to personal and career development of a pharmacy school graduate.
